I know we have voting stones in several locations ingame but I don't think these are enough of an 'in your face' sort of thing.

Back on XUO maka had set up 3 gumps that would appear every so often asking you to vote. If you voted you got a few hundred gp depending on the vote site (max was like 2k) and you wouldn't get the gump again for another 24 hours since the vote sites only let you vote once per day. If you didn't vote you'd keep getting the gumps every x minutes.

Does anyone think we should add this to get the vote count up, or do people think it would annoy players more then it would help us?

I think doing this is against some of the voting sites rules. Besides, why should we have to pay players to vote or annoy them until they do.
If you want more players, vote. Its that simple.:p
